Smita Rajan
PhD Student in Mathematics · UC Berkeley
I am a second-year PhD student in mathematics at UC Berkeley, where I study algebraic geometry. More specifically, I am interested in intersection theory, moduli of curves, and tropical geometry. I am jointly advised by Bernd Sturmfels and Hannah Larson. Previously, I was an undergraduate at Brown University where I studied mathematics and physics.
I am grateful for the support of the NSF GRFP and the UC Berkeley Chancellor's Fellowship.
